Terms of sale
Last updated: 1 October 2026. These Terms of Sale govern the sale of cosmetic products by Laboratoires Innerskin (the Seller) through innerskin.com to consumers, for delivery to the United Kingdom. Clinic treatments are governed by the separate Clinic Terms of IS UK Operations Ltd.
1. Pre-contract information. Before you place an order, the Seller provides clear information on the main characteristics of the products, the price, delivery arrangements, the right to cancel and the applicable legal guarantees, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Product images are illustrative.
2. Products and availability. Products are offered subject to availability. Product images and descriptions are provided for information only and are not contractual. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, you will be informed and refunded the corresponding amount.
3. Orders. Your order is confirmed when the Seller sends you an order confirmation. The Seller may decline or cancel any order that is abnormal, made in bad faith or where fraud is suspected.
4. Price and VAT. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable UK VAT. The price is the one displayed at the time of your order. The Seller may change prices at any time without affecting confirmed orders. Any reduced price is presented in accordance with applicable pricing rules.
5. Payment. Payment is made by card or any other method offered at checkout. Online payments are secure and card details are handled by the Seller's approved payment providers. A third-party instalment or pay-later option may be offered at checkout; it is subject to the provider's terms and approval, the provider supplies the applicable credit agreement and pre-contractual information, and fees may apply.
6. Delivery. Delivery arrangements, areas, timeframes and charges are set out in the Shipping Policy. Unless otherwise agreed, the products are delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order. Risk passes to you on delivery.
7. Right to cancel (14 days). As a consumer buying at a distance, you have the right to cancel within 14 days, as set out in the Returns and Cancellation Policy, subject to the exceptions stated there (including sealed products unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons).
8. Faulty or misdescribed goods. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are faulty, you have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days for a full refund, and thereafter the right to repair or replacement and, where applicable, a price reduction or final right to reject. This is set out in the Returns and Cancellation Policy and is in addition to your right to cancel.
9. Gift cards and free items. Innerskin offers digital gift cards in pounds sterling. Some are usable only for online purchases, others only in clinic in the United Kingdom for treatments and in-clinic purchases; the type and place of use are stated at the time of purchase. Each gift card is issued by the company that honours it, identified at the time of purchase; use in clinic is governed by the terms of the relevant clinic. A gift card is available to persons aged 18 or over, delivered by email to the address given at purchase, non-rechargeable, non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash and non-transferable; its validity period is stated on issue and no duplicate is issued if lost or stolen. The balance is drawn down as purchases are made; where an order paid with a gift card is refunded, the corresponding amount is credited back to the gift card. Innerskin accepts no responsibility for an incorrect address supplied by the purchaser, or for loss, theft or non-receipt due to a spam filter, and may cancel a gift card in the event of non-payment or a chargeback. You have 14 days to cancel the purchase of a gift card; however, once the gift card has been activated or used, the contract having been fully performed, the right to cancel is lost. The Seller may occasionally offer samples or free gifts with an order, subject to availability; they are provided at no extra cost and are not an entitlement. If you cancel or return the order to which they are linked, the sample or gift must be returned; if it is not returned and it has a market value, that value may be deducted from the refund.
10. Account and use of the website. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity on your account. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to impair its operation or security. The Seller may suspend or close an account in the event of breach or fraud.
11. Liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud. Subject to that, the Seller is not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for indirect or consequential losses, or for misuse of the products or failure to follow instructions. Your statutory rights are not affected.
12. Complaints. For any question or complaint, contact hello-uk@innerskin.com or +44 7863 780800. The Seller will seek an amicable solution.
13. Data protection. Personal data is processed in accordance with the UK Privacy Policy (B5).
14. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales; if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts for the part in which you live. Your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this choice of law.
15. Force majeure. Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by an event beyond its reasonable control (including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic and related official measures, major transport disruption or major technical failure of networks). Performance is suspended for the duration of the event; if it continues for more than 60 days, either party may cancel the affected order without liability. This does not affect your statutory rights.
16. General. These Terms are the entire agreement on their subject matter. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The Seller may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time of your order applies.
