Skinfusion® - What is it
WHAT IS SKINFUSION®?

Skinfusion® is a signature protocol created by Innerskin around one principle: temporarily preparing the skin barrier to optimise the absorption of actives, infusing them when the skin is most receptive, then restoring its barrier function.

The innovation therefore does not rely on a single machine. It relies on the order and combination of the different steps of the protocol.

1. PREPARING THE SKIN BARRIER

The stratum corneum is the outermost part of the epidermis and plays an essential barrier role. Skinfusion® combines several complementary processes to act temporarily on this superficial layer and create favourable conditions for applying the actives. This action is controlled and reversible, without breaking the skin.

2. INFUSING PDRN

Once the skin has been prepared, a formula containing PDRN is delivered by controlled pressure. PDRN – polydeoxyribonucleotide – is made up of DNA fragments. In Skinfusion®, it is used topically as part of a deep, needle-free delivery. The actives remain at the level of the epidermis: Skinfusion® should therefore not be confused with an injection of PDRN or polynucleotides.

3. RESTORING THE BARRIER FUNCTION

After the infusion, the protocol combines LED photobiomodulation with the application of Innerskin products. The final step provides lipid components in particular to support hydration, comfort and the restoration of the barrier function.

WHAT ABOUT FIRMNESS?

It relies on a separate mechanism. The radiofrequency used during Skinfusion® delivers controlled heat and supports the mechanisms associated with collagen remodelling. It is this component of the protocol that gradually works on skin firmness over the weeks.
