WHAT IS MOXI™?

MOXI™ is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser developed by Sciton. Its 1927 nm thulium wavelength targets the water in the skin's surface layers.

It delivers fine micro-columns of energy, leaving the surrounding skin untouched, to support the skin's natural renewal process. The result: a more even skin tone, refined texture and softened fine lines.

Every protocol is fully personalised to your skin and the concern being treated, including established pigmentation.

MOXI™ also fits into your skincare journey at two key moments: as a first introduction to laser treatments, or as regular maintenance between more intensive treatments.

Yes, more than with a surface treatment: the skin looks red the next day, then small dark dots (micro-crusts) and light flaking may appear over the following days. How long this lasts depends on the intensity chosen.

Redness, warmth, small dark dots and light flaking are expected and temporary.

More rarely, prolonged redness, a cold sore flare-up in people prone to them, or temporary pigmentation changes may occur. Any unusual reaction should be reported to the clinic.

MOXI™ can be used on a wide range of skin tones, with settings adapted to your skin. A prior assessment is essential, particularly if your skin is prone to pigmentation after inflammation.

MOXI™ can be considered at different times of the year, provided you follow strict daily sun protection before and after the session. Recent sun exposure or a tan may mean the session is postponed.
